Kurippu stores all data exclusively locally on your Mac. We use Apple's SwiftData framework for efficient and secure storage of your clipboard history.
Encryption
Kurippu supports optional on-disk data encryption using native Apple tools. This encryption utilizes standard macOS data protection mechanisms.
OCR and Text Recognition
The OCR (Optical Character Recognition) feature in Kurippu uses exclusively the native Apple Vision framework. All image processing happens locally on your device.
Network Communication
Kurippu does not communicate with any external servers. The application does not require an internet connection to function and contains no analytics tools or telemetry.
Sensitive App Blacklist
For additional protection, you can use Ghost Mode, which automatically ignores clipboard content from selected apps such as password managers.
